Cheerful and smiling hosts welcomed us as we were one of the family, offered us their delicious homemade specialties and let us explore the whole area and meet the beautiful creatures who live there. Really, melting with nature and getting to know the old Istrian habits.
Everything they offer in the restaurant is from domestic production: the wine, the cheese, the flour, eggs, meat prosciutto....everything!
After exploring outside, the hosts took us in their cellar and offered us some more specialties and some of them, we even brought home.
The prices are really affordable, no worries.
We would have slept over if we remembered to make the reservation sooner, because they do have the option, but hopefully we will sometime because I think there is nothing more beautiful than waking up with the sound of birds singing and surrounded just with nature.
I am overwhelmed!
Ps. It is better to make reservations for lunch or sleeping overnight, so keep that in mind if you want to visit.
