Find the recipe for the RAW BRUSSEL SPROUT CHIPS below...
Ingredients
- 250 g Brussel sprouts
- a pinch of salt
- pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Clean and wash the Brussel sprouts. Chop the bottom part to ease the process of dividing the leaves. Do that with every sprout. You can chop the middle, white and hard part, in half and use it as well.
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, salt and pepper with the Brussel sprout leaves. Use your hands to incorporate well the ingredients with the veggie.
ADVISE: even if you might want to use more olive oil, stick to the 1 tbsp, because the chips might get to greasy once you dry it.
Lay the leaves on the dehydrator shelves and dehidrate on 45 C degrees for about 12 h. You will know when is done, because it wil get crunchy.
Store she chips in airtight jars. You can leave the jars on room temperature.
