Finally strawberries, combined with my latest obsession- tahini paste!
A great delight for breakfast! Creamy oatmeal that will keep you satiated for a long while and will help with your digestion.
I enriched my porridge with my favourite tahini paste, honey, coconut, banana and the current seasonal STRAWBERRIES that bring freshness, sweetness and sourness and complete the flavours perfectly.

For the porridge
- half cup or about 5 large tbsp of small oat flakes
- 1 cup almond milk*
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp tahini paste
*You can use any kind of milk you prefer.
For the topping
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp shredded coconut
- 4-5 fresh strawberries
- 1/2 banana, sliced
- cinnamon
In a small pot cook over medium to low heat the fine oat flakes with some milk. Don't use the entire content of milk all at once, use a bit more of half cup.
Stir almost constantly and after a minute add the chia seeds. Continue stirring and gradually pour in the rest of the milk.
After 2-3 minutes when the oatmeal thickens, turn off the heat and stir in the tahini paste.
Transfer the porridge into your serving bowl.
Slice the banana, strawberries and place them on top of the porridge along with the coconut and cinnamon, then cover it all with a tbsp of honey.
