Green smoothies will clean our body and keep us full throughout the morning hours. Bottoms up!
You can make your green smoothie with additions of bananas for a longer feeling of fullness, some other fruit for a better digestion and with some superfood additions or seeds and nuts. Spices are not to be avoided if you like them and know how to combine the flavours.
Smoothies are a great choice for a healthy start of the day because they help your bowel get cleaner, help your digestion, keep your blood sugar levels normal, detox your body and give you a proper kick for the upcoming day!

Cholorifyll of plants/vegetables regenerates your body, cleans the body, fight against infections, boosts the immune system, circulation, keeps healthy levels of heamoglobin and red blood cells and help with digestion.
Ingredients rich in chlorophyll: green leafy vegetables, carrot and beet leaves, wild plants and also various seaweeds and sprouts.
- 1 middle sized banana
- 1 apple (I used the Pink lady kind)
- a generous handful of fresh spinach, washed and cleaned
- 5 walnuts
- 1 tbsp hemp powder
- 1 1/2 glass of water
*You can add 1/2 tsp or 1/3 tsp powdered Kelp seaweed. It's not u must, though.
The preparation of smoothies couldn't be easier and faster!
Peel the banana and slice it into your blender. Do the same with your washed and peeled apple and spinach.
Add in the walnuts, hemp powder and water and blend!
The smoothie has to be fluid and all the ingredients have to break nicely, especially the spinach.
