Raw energy bars with a secret ingredients -  GUARANA .

In collaboration with Ljekarnik.hr

Guarana...a well-known stimulating plant from the Amazon rain forest, whose natives link their longevity to this "elixir of long life".

We all know that Guarana seeds are high in caffeine, a reason why many people avoid it, but also some people use it expressly because of that.

Gurana contains between 3-7% caffeine, much more than coffee, but since it's been released slowly into our body, his stimulating activity lasts longer without causing rapid heartbeating, as in coffee or green tea.

Theobromine, found in this powerful plant helps in fat burning, which contributes to weight loss and cellulite reduction.

Also, caffeine in guarana stimulates urination helping the body release toxins rapidly as well as getting rid of nexcess water from the body

Among all, it boosts your concentration and energy, cleans the gut and enhances the libido.

Reccomended daily dose: 0,5-1 g.

You can add the powder into smoothies or into your favourite energy bars.

It has no specific strong flavour.

  • 200 g nuts*
  • 35 g coconut flour**
  • 2 žlice tahini paste
  • 1 žličica guarana powder
  • 20 g cocoa powder
  • 3-4 tbsp honey
  • 75 g dried plums

* I reccomend you use almonds combined with walnuts.

**Use coconut flour not shredded coconut because of its fine texture.

The quantity of the bars depends of the way you slice your bars.

Blend the nuts to flour in a food processor.

Add the remaining ingredients and mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Press the mixture onto a tray, pay attention on how thick you want them to be and leave in the fridge to get firm.

Take it out, slice to bars and store in the fridge.

You can wrap a bar before going to work in a foil or parchment paper and you'll have a healthy snack that will boost you with energy for the rest of the day and raise your concentration.

Everybody can use this bar, not only athletes. People who must consult with their doctors are pregnant women and people with certain health difficulties that should not consume caffein.
