Hunting for truffles at Karlić, then cooking in the villa.
Third day of Tournant 's workshop.
Breakfast together, then up and we go to Paladini in the search for truffles.
It was big wish of mine to go truffle hunting that Tournant made come true and I must say that the Karlić experience was really educational, fun and delicious.
The location is out of this world with a stunning view, it is peaceful and cosy and the four legged ladies are the real attraction, actually.
They greeted us with a truffle feast, then we spent an hour with the truffle boss Sanjin and his girls, Leila & Candy, in the search for white truffles.
We managed to find some, but Candy was a real show lady, teasing us more than actually searching for them.
The afternoon was rainy, so we cooked in our summer kitchen next to the pool and we roasted everything in our fireplace, instead of the bonfire.
The food was absolutely divine, mostly vegeterian, just the way I like it, and I can't really decide what I loved most.
