Ingredients
- 350 g raw peanuts
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 30 g ghee butter
- Himalayan salt
Roast the peanuts in a preheated oven on 175 C degrees for about 10 minutes, so they can get a nice brownish crust and let their fats.
Place the warm peanuts into the blender and pulse until you get a nice flour-like texture.
Continue pulsing until you get a smoother and thicker paste. In this moment you can add the a tsp of salt, the maple syrup and ghee butter.
You can add this ingredients by taste.
Also, if you want a peanut butter with chunks, divide a handful of roasted peanuts and throw them in the blender at the very end. Pulse shortly to let them incorporate well into the butter.
You will probably need a "stronger" blender to get the result you want.
I used a stronger narrow blender at first and then transfered it all into a larger one that enabled me actually to get a butter-like smoother texture.
The process of pulsing can last for 15-20 minutes, depending on the blender you have.
You can use a different kind of fat for your butter. For instance, peanut oil can be a great addition of course for this recipe.
Once you got a nice thick and smooth texture, transfer the butter into a jar and store in the fridge.
